Following You
Question: As followers of Jesus, are there daily actions we choose to do which can encourage us to know that our faith in Him is a true, genuine, growing reality? I believe there are, and wrote this song to share those encouraging truths…
Lord Keep My Eyes Upon You
It is so easy to get distracted in this world from keeping our heart’s focus on the Lord. The is a simple prayer put to music reminding us of this truth and asking God’s help to do so.
Chosen By the Lord
This song was written for my oldest brother, J. Richard Nichols, on the 25th anniversary of his music ministry at Hillsdale Baptist Church, Tampa, FL in June of 1992. Dick and his wife, Jenifer, had even more years there following this special occasion, impacting lives for Jesus. Now in their retirement years, they continue to live with a strong faith in the Lord. I searched for and chose a picture of a sunset on Tampa Bay, to give added reflection of God’s good work through them in that place.
Crumbs on the Floor
As a young father, I was amazed by all the time and energy needed for my wife, Rebecca, in taking care of our two little ones. The daily routines of a mom are many and repetitious. I wrote this song during those days to be an encouraging reminder that daily chores have eternal rewards for moms who love and serve the Lord in this most blessed and honorable way.
Gazing at the Lord
It was in the mid-1990’s I was listening to the radio show “Joni and Friends” as Joni Earickson Tada was sharing how the Lord continued to work in her life living as a quadriplegic since she was a teenager. Joni made the statemen that even we as followers of Jesus spend too much time gazing at our problems and only glancing at the Lord. She went on to say that it should be the other way around. We should glance at our problems and fix our gaze on the Lord! And from those words of wisdom this song was born.

Based on Habakkuk 3.17-19, we are reminded that even when there are no buds on the fig tree, no grapes on the vine, and our life often seems barren, God is still near. He is very much at work in our lives. We can trust Him at all times, and still choose to rejoice in Him.
Jesus My Lord
An original Easter men’s a cappella quartet or men’s chorus, with a lead soloist. The text, flowing 12/8 time melody and rich harmonies, tells gospel story, beginning with Jesus in Gethsemane, to the cross, the tomb, the empty grave, and closes a reminder that Jesus is coming back again!

Inward Purity
The truth is that we as people view others mostly from looking at the outside appearance and actions. But God views us from the inside out. He sees our heart, thoughts and motives. This is where our true relationship with God is grown and revealed.
